Wake Up Dead Man
I like that this one returned more to its whodunit roots, although I did enjoy Glass Onion. I think what enjoyed about the inclusion of the church in this story was the willingness to have a fairly nuanced portrayal of its role to people. Obviously there's plenty of terrible things that the church does, most everyone knows, and it's very easy to make jokes or portrayals at their expense, but Josh O'Connor's role as Jud really helped establish an emotional and almost philosophical pillar for the movie which prevented it from becoming a charicature that I think would have made it harder to take seriously.
That being said, although I did appreciate the attempt to subvert the typical Benoit Blanc exposition of the whodunit at the end, I do feel like the last quarter of the movie felt a little messy and unsatisfying somehow.
